Shea Butter
It is a fatty substance derived from the nuts of the shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa), which is native to Africa. It has been used for centuries for its skin-moisturizing properties, as well as for medicinal and cosmetic purposes. It is high in vitamins A and E, as well as a number of other important nutrients and antioxidants.
For Skin: Take a small amount and warm between your fingers until it softens. Gently massage onto face or body until fully absorbed for deep moisturization and nourishment.
For Hair: For a conditioning treatment, melt a bit of shea butter and apply to damp hair, focusing on ends or areas with damage. Leave in for 20-30 minutes, then wash out.
For DIY Projects: Melt and mix with essential oils, other butters, or natural ingredients to craft your desired product.
