About
With each purchase of Kapuluan’s raw organic coconut oil, the mission is to decrease poverty, mitigate global warming, and improve the livelihood of coconut farming communities by working in partnership with rural coconut farmers and empowering them to achieve a higher value for their resources.
For each item sold, Kapuluan plants a coconut palm tree in the Philippines to help in the fight against climate change and assist coconut farmers with crop production and sustainability.

Eligibility Requirements
Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are a member of a minority group that is underrepresented in the fields of Environment and Sustainability (i.e., African-American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, Pacific Islander) OR have a documented disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Applicants must be planning to pursue a career in Environment and Sustainability.
