Welcome to the Kapuluan Affiliate Program

Thank you for your interest in becoming an affiliate partner with Kapuluan! By signing up, you agree to the following terms and conditions that govern your participation in our program. Please read this agreement carefully. Your acceptance as an affiliate signifies your understanding and compliance with these terms.

1. Overview

Kapuluan’s Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates (“you,” “your”) to earn commissions by promoting our products through unique tracking links. When a customer clicks on your affiliate link and completes a qualifying purchase on our website, you earn a percentage of that sale. Kapuluan manages this program directly through its affiliate platform.

2. Eligibility and Application Process

To join our program, applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Submit accurate and complete information during the application process.
• Agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Applications may be declined if the website, social media profile, or promotional materials:

• Contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• Include coupon or discount aggregation sites.
• Violate intellectual property laws.
• Harm the reputation of Kapuluan or its affiliates.

Kapuluan reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion.

3. Affiliate Responsibilities

a. Content Guidelines

Affiliates must:

• Promote Kapuluan products in a positive, ethical, and professional manner.
• Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in compliance with FTC guidelines.
• Use only approved banners, logos, and materials provided by Kapuluan.

Affiliates may not:

• Make false claims about Kapuluan products or services.
• Use spam, misleading links, or deceptive marketing practices.
• Create websites or domains resembling Kapuluan’s branding.

b. Compliance with Laws

Affiliates must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to consumer protection laws and advertising standards in their region.

4. Commissions

a. Commission Rates

Affiliates earn a commission percentage on qualifying purchases made through their unique affiliate link. Details of current commission rates are provided upon approval.

b. Payment Schedule

Payments will be made monthly, provided the affiliate’s earned commissions meet the minimum payout threshold of $50. Commissions below this threshold will roll over to the next payout period.

c. Qualifying Purchases

Only sales generated through the affiliate’s unique tracking link qualify for commissions. Sales are not eligible if:

• Orders are canceled, refunded, or deemed fraudulent.
• The sale involves discounted wholesale purchases.

Kapuluan reserves the right to adjust or reverse commissions in cases of error, fraud, or program violations.

5. License and Intellectual Property

Kapuluan grants affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use its logos, trademarks, and promotional materials for the sole purpose of promoting its products under this program. Affiliates may not:

• Alter Kapuluan branding or materials.
• Use trademarks in domain names or paid advertisements (e.g., Google Ads).

All intellectual property rights remain the sole property of Kapuluan.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may not:

• Use cookie stuffing, adware, or parasitic marketing techniques.
• Bid on Kapuluan-related keywords in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns.
• Promote products on prohibited channels such as adult or gambling websites.
• Post affiliate links on Kapuluan’s owned social media accounts or paid ads.

Violations may result in termination from the program and forfeiture of commissions.

7. Termination

Kapuluan reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at its discretion, including for non-compliance with these terms. Affiliates may also terminate their participation at any time by notifying Kapuluan in writing.

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted under this agreement will cease immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kapuluan makes no guarantees about the success or profitability of the affiliate program. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kapuluan disclaims liability for any damages arising from your participation in the program.

9. Confidentiality

Any confidential information shared between Kapuluan and affiliates must not be disclosed to third parties. This includes commission rates, business strategies, and internal data.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located within New York, NY.

11. Modifications

Kapuluan reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email or through the affiliate dashboard. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
